if thoes numbers are made on pump gas, as in 93, im seriously worried about our engineers over here in america. i see it spins to 9500, i realize thats not the usual 5500 that our american cars do...but jesus thats really embarasing out of a 4L v8 if its on pump gas and is in the same price range as our cars. i hope its on like c16 and titanium parts and lightweight components that are not affordable.

Would you rather have topend shriek or low end grunt?

ive hated hondas since i could talk and loved chevrolet and gm since i was old enough to play with hot wheels. but the fact remains, that is im-fucking-pressive if its on 93 octane pump gas from a production line motor.
IF its on race gas with a hand built motor thats one of a kind, then no, its not that hot.

I want both, just once i need both. :jest:
There's a race engine builder in my town who built up a 406 Brodix for his 98 commodore, 771 fwhp and a 600hp nos kit, This thing easerly revs to 10,500rpm runs on pump gas and at idle sounds like no other street car. As he says it's basically a sprint car motor. Barnes dry sump and all. I suppose if that Honda goes into production and then gets modded, it's by by LS1 catch me if you can. :(

Mugen is similar to a Japanese Lingenfelter, so in that regard this likely is a pump gas machine however it is not a stock car either, or even one that Honda is going to sell. That said I imagine that if this car is a succes on the show circuit it's possible Honda may build a V8 RL, which is what that car needs IMOHO.
Makes me wonder if Tomihara will make a supped up M45 for Nissan....

I've already seen guys on Honda society talking about turbos if the can get the car. If this happens Hondas will be driving away from most of us like we do to them now. Damn

Tomihara? Never heard that name thrown around in the JDM supertuners business before. You sure you don't mean Tommy Kaira?

Dude their products are effing crazy. They were supposedly to build an RB powered mid engined supercar called the ZZII and had produced prototypes, but I'm not sure if the vehicle ever made it to the production line. Would have been a hell of a screamer if she were built. Sub 2000 lbs. curb weight IIRC and a 500+hp version of the RB26DETT would make for one hell of a supercar.
