Just installed my TSP 233/239
Like the title says I just finished up this morning after 2 long days of installation. All I can say about the idle is WOW! This thing sounds like a beast while sitting still. The car definitely shakes more at stoplights which I can live with. It's having some problems at idle with trying to die and it did die a few times but I adjusted my driving style to compensate until I get it tuned. Haven't taken it over 3000 rpms yet as I read that you should wait 1 day for the springs to completely cool off after first driving it. It does feel strong as low as 2000 and I'm sure it will scream from 4000-6500. Thanks to JMX's installation instructions...they were perfect. Will be hitting the dyno in about a week to see where I'm at...I've never dynoed this car.

Still the stock speed. I'm doing a tune in the next couple of days so hopefully it will stop dipping down to 300 rpms and then 900 and then 300 again...it does this about 3 times before it finds the idle at around 800. I would like to keep it around 850 since it sounds so good with the crazy lope.

I would like to post a sound/video clip except I can't find the installation disc to put video from my camera onto my computer. I look forward to hitting the dyno next week. This is my 3rd fourth-gen. The first was a '98 TA (mostly stock) at 311 RWHP, the second was a '94 Z28 with a hotcam kit and headers at around 335 RWHP. I'm shooting for at least 360 RWHP with this...I know what you're thinking...why so low? Because if I aim low and end up higher I'll be happy!

Agreed let the tuner do his thing Although I do cam/springs in 4-5hrs, I remember how it felt to do my first and the feeling of accomplishment and that nervous feeling upon fire up You will never forget it

This was actually my 2nd swap (first was on my '94 Z28) but I was still pretty damn nervous before starting it up. Cranking it over a couple times without the coil plug harness connected eased my nerves a little bit. As for the dyno, I promise I'll post the graph next week after I get it!
