steering problem.

Default steering problem.

ok my car was in a flood but water didnt make it in the car. anyways took it to a speed shop and now everytime i seem to turn my wheels i feel a vibration and kinda hear it. what could it be? power steering pump? rack and pinion? PLEASE HELP!

Water could have seeped into the power steering fluid and could be causing a vibration when the pump tries to pump fluid and hits water. Pop the cap on your power steering fluid reservoir and see if you can see anything. You may need to drain and replace the fluid.

ok ill do that. but would it matter since i got a new motor put in or could the water still be there? thanks for the response. ne one else?

just add more PS fluid.... mine did the same a few months ago, so i added more, and doesnt do it anymore. haha
