Default I just left work when...

a guy in a turbo mustang ('95 body style) pulls up and wants to run'em. Luck would have it that I hit the 1000 mile mark on the new motor this morning on the way to work.

So anyhow, ******** drops it a few gears, gets his turbo spooled up, and waits for me to line up. I pull up on him in 4th, drop to second and the little **** just floored it. Took me about 1/10 of a second to react. I floored it in second (we were rolling about 40), and I put about 10 car lengths on him almost imediatly.

Now I'm thinking to myself, "Self, he couldn't have been trying". I slow back down to 40 (in third this time) and ******** catches up. He looked pissed. He drops it down, gets his turbo spooled up, and this time I waited just a bit to make sure he was going. Then - BAM - I punch it again and put 10 car lengths on him in no time!

I slow down again, 35ish, and ******** pulls up again. But this time I think to myself, "Self, don't waste the gas". So I just handed his *** back to him and let him go on his merry way.

God I love my car!

450ish. I have a rather restrictive intake setup. I figure there is another 35-40 hp to be had when I get the plumbing corrected. Still working out the kinks in the tune.
