In very cold weather my gas pedal is sticky. Usally I can press the gas and the rpms will just go up 100 rpm because the way I press the gas pedal is so fluid. Now it's notchy. Like I have to press the pedal a little harder, almost like the cable is stuck or something and the rpm's climb higher and faster because I need to press harder than normal to get the rpms to move.

Once I get past that "notch" it's fine but it's a little annoying. Any ideas?

open the hood and check the cable? Pull on it(Tb blade) and see if you can feel a stick

I just went outside and checked my car. With the car off it was fine, turned it on and it was fine. I can't seem to figure out when it happens but I'll check the throttle cable.

Friggin froze my balls off out there, jeepers creepers.

Yea and I could sport my shit in speed-o's and a wife beater outside in front of the methadone clinic and tell everyone Iíve got a piŮata with alcohol swabs and clean synergies but itís 10.00 to get into the party.

Always a chance the car would be sold. I'm going to try and save up 5% then get into a condo and get myself a little 4 cycl car and save the Camaro. Civics get something like 34 city 38 highway mpg.

Cheesy, your dad had a retarded truck. What was he doing, soaking the throttle body in salt water and barnicles? The car was just taken apart not that long ago, cant be that.

Yup, why do you think that TB bypass mod is such a great idea now, lol.

You don't have any coolant going through the TB anymore do you Joe? :jest:

this happened to me once and it was the dam floor mat, when the dumb asses at jiffy lube changed my oil, they vaccumed and moved my floor mat, so when i floored it it would get caught up, scared the shit out of me a couple times til i realized what it was

The blade is getting stuck when closed.Probly the adjuster is a tiny bit closed too much. The TB bypass is for ice which if there was ice the throttle wouldn't even move.

Well if it was out of adjustment...then why once it got warmer outside would it all of a sudden free up & work normal? LOL :jest:

I still say it's TB bypass. Don, have Joe bring his car over, put it your garage (heat) & check the adjustment theory :eyes: :jest: J/K-Fred
