Default A little help please...need more umph!

I want to get a little MORE out of my 02 SS and was looking at a cam ...but I am in Cali and NEED to stay smog legal. I am also looking into gears. I really only the money to do one...should I go for a cam/springs combo and hope I pass the sniffer or should I hit up some 3.73 or 4.10s in my 10bolt? Which will make my beast more fun...I do the standard San Jose commute so stop go stop go, with some good freeway milage. Thanks all.

I'd say go with the cam. A TR224 114 should pass in Cali.

I can change the ORY in an hour or so it dont bother me. I'll look into the cam thing...dont think the 224 is too much in cali? Would it be better to go with a 112 or 114 lsa?
