Do you have any debt? If not then maybe some DR's and NOS.

Another vote for NOS. By the time you add all the safety features, it's gonna cost you ~$1000.00

Stall, and tires if you're still running around on bald ones.

You need to get an converter and cooler. Go with the SS3600/2.5 and a B&M 24,000 GVW Cooler.

Definitely a cam. Most bang for your buck, especially with your mods.

Actually...you know what would be good:
HPTuners $550
Ported TB $150
Underdrive Pulley and Belts $250

plus the rest in shipping and handling. that would probably offer you the most for your money. You could tune your shifts, increase spark, tune fuel, plus the underdrive and tb would be icing on the cake! All for just about exactly what you have.

Werd.

A Verter is the thing to do above all else. Although a cam will give you the horsepower, if you cant get into the powerband, without a convertor you wont see much of an improvment in ET's. NOt to mention to do a cam right along with installation might take you over 1k. Just a thought.

Some vertors have shown as much as a .5 gain in the 1/4. The only other mod that can do that for the price is nitrous.

I think you would better giving me the 1k to use on mine, you did say anything! The best gain will be from your inner self knowing you made my day.

Cam, if you install it yourself. Converter. DR's. Only problem is after a cam install you would need a good tune which aint cheap.

And they include a decent laptop for that $550.00?
I hear this recommendation a lot suggesting getting LS1 Edit or HP Tuners but people ALWAYS leave out the required laptop part....please don't assume that EVERYONE has an extra laptop laying around.

Doing a cam prior to the converter makes the cam less effective. Potential stalling and the car will fall out of the power band with the stock converter. Not sure if you will be installing it yourself but, plan $250-$400 for labor. I ordered my SS4000 directly from Yank and was $775 shipped and the SS3600 is the same price. Get a few friends and use Torque Converter Install for the installation. Get a transmission cooler and these are ~$60 shipped. Then, use Trans Cooler Install for the install. You will need 8 quarts of transmission fluid and a new filter. That will leave you ~$100 left over. With that money, I would get a Autometer Transmission Temp Gauge. These are ~$50 and come with all of the hardware. Then, use Trans Temp Gauge Install for the install. This will be the best use of $1,000 that you can do and will pack one hell of a punch.

Definitely a converter and tranny cooler. I believe Speed Inc has a package right now that is a Vigilante stall, B & M Tranny cooler, and a TransGo Shift Kit for $830. All 3 of those things would make a nice little dent in your times at the track and make it a ton more fun to drive! You'd be looking at around .5 seconds off your time, if not more. That's QUICK!
