Do a search found this out Andrew:
Using ARP Assembly Lube TQ to 40, 60, 70 OR using 30W Oil TQ 40, 60, 70, 85. Some prefer to torque entire head, then rest, loosen entire head, then retorque as you will notice the bolts turn farther second and third time around. Some prefer, like myself, to torque, warm engine, and retorque to ensure proper torque/clamping force. Either way will work. Good luck Brother, wish I was there to help you out!

Thanks, I'll try to find the ARP lube and as far as the doing the torque do the same swquence as stock but just torque it to ARP specs.
I the main thing is I don't do the 90* turns like the stock bolts, I just do one pass at 40, 60, and 70?
Thanks

Studs and Bolts are different, just like what one tech will tell you and another will tell me. But bottom line, 30w is 4 pass process @ 40/60/70/85ftlbs. and then 2 passes @ 22/29ftlbs on small bolts.

Yep bolts, well I'm going to start that biatch up today
I went with 30wt oil and 1st pass 35 2nd 55 3rd 70 and 4th 85 in order.
Then the smaller bolt to 29 in order.
I guess all I can do now is pray
Thanks everyone

Can I ask a question here? What is the general consensus of head studs? Seems to me like the way to go because that "torque to yield" thing doesn't sound like my cup of tea. Is the only draw-back the exspense?
