My engine has about 1100 miles on it now and I'm still running Castrol 10W40. I have a TR ported but not shimmed oil pump. My oil pressure runs around 35 idle and a little less than 60 at WOT. I know when I switch to synthetic it will go down a little more. Does anyone have any idea how much to shim an oil pump to bump the pressure up 5-10 psi.
