OK to spray auto paint OVER powdercoat???

Default OK to spray auto paint OVER powdercoat???

I'm getting a rollbar that I'm going to have painted the body color. Is it better to order the bar with powdercoat and paint over it or order it bare and sand off the rust, etc and then paint? TIA.

I too would like to know. I was going to paint my roll bar NBM when I purchase one.

i would just order it bare and save the money you would on getting a powdercoated one.

I ordered mine bare and painted it myself.
