I appreciate the kind words guys. Now I just need to put down enough power to make use of it. Nonetheless its does feel more stiff over bumps and in the corners.

Not to be a jerk but why tie in to the weakest section of the car at the rear??? Grab the frame rails. Not the wheelwells. If I rolled the car which is what I have to think about on every car I build I want the driver to walk away. The wheelwells are flimsy and dont protect the driver enough.

The fabrication looks killer and I'm impressed by the work though.

I can understand where you are coming from and here is my thing. I actually had planned on going down to the subframe on the flat deck. But then I also wanted to tie together the corners of the car. So rather than make an additional bar horizontally I did the X which is going to do the same thing. I dont forsee rolling the car, especially being that I am going to lower it 1.5" with stiff shocks. This is more for drivers edge and GT stuff. Not really drag racing. I do appreciate your compliment on the fabrication. I just do the best I can with what I have to work with.

Would that be considered a legal 6 point for NHRA racing

Is the center bar even in spec. Looks at little high there.

Nice work! Looks real good for what you are using it for - don't know if it would pass tech for dragracing cause of the way the bars are run, but it sounds like that isn't a concern for you. Good job!

looks good, but I question the door bar angle dip, not sure if that would pass either, but still a nice job

Doubt it. I really wanted something a little different to serve my purpose and look neat. However if I do at some point need to pass inspection I can add to, or modify to make things fly.

Thanks

looks good man .but why didnt you run the rear down bars straight.I understand the x and what it serves but tubes running at angles isnt as strong as a straight one.maybe you can add them in later .when the weight from the front end comes up the bars transfor the load to the rear of the car any bends/angles will flex more than a straight piece.anyways looks great and hope it passes any inspecion you might get.
