Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - Headlight control module '97 & '01 same?

I need the headlight control module that is behind the drivers side headlight, in front of the fuse box. This is for my 2001 Trans Am.

I found one from a '97 Bird but am not sure if they are the same thing or if I could use it on my car?
