Default Pics of a chrome Hurst Shifter?

Does anyone have any pics of a Chrome handled Hurst shifter? I had one in my old Mustang and I loved it because the handle came up high making it easier to slap it in gear and get right back to the wheel. It also looked killer and went into gear easily. Do they make a chrome handled hurst shifter for F bodys?

They do. Hurst Billet/Plus has a chrome stick option.

On the 4th page of my sig at the bottom you can see a pic that kind of shows my billet plus off. It looks damn good. It also stands up a bit higher than my buddies Pro 5.0. I like the shifter being a little taller. Also get the White ball. You can't have a muscle car with out a chrome hurst shifter and white shift ****.

A word of warning though the white **** just dosen't screw on to the shifter. You have to get a sleeve out of one of Hurst's universal kits that fit it. Then drill the **** out and epoxy it in. It's kinda of a pain but it looks 10 times better than the cheap black ball that comes with it.

If you want the T handle you'll have to buy it seperatly. The shifter comes with a black, round ****. Its alright but I missed a shift with it once. The beauty of the T is that it is damm near impossible to miss shifts. You mount it so that its perpendicular to the console and because of the way you hold it you are always pushing or pulling straight. DONT get the brushed or polished T handle. They get dirty (black) and lose their shine really fast from your hand. Get the chrome one. Its the SAE (imperial) universal model with 3 different threaded sleeves, one of which fits the chrome stick. I can remember what the thread is but it is smaller than the factory stick.

Its a Honda S2000 button. Kinda pricey but well worth it. Do a search here for engine start button. You'll find the instructions to install it. Really easy to do.

You could do that, or if you have your stock shifter around cut the top of the shifter handle off, the part that includes the threads. Then drill a hole in center and tap it for 3/8 coarse threads. Then put a little lock tight on the threads and thread it into the ****. Now it will fit the Hurst shifter.

Yep. You just have to find out what the stock thread is and pick a T handle to match it. Hurst makes a billet plus to fit the stock ****. You can go to their site and find out what the thread of that one is.

Yes the White Hurst **** will fit it with no modifications. The threads on it are the same size as the factory ****.

Midnight did you paint your center console insert black or did your car come two tone like that? I swapped in a 97+ console into my Z and a TA dash into my car and my flip out cup holder rubs the bottom of my dash. Does yours do that? I figured it was because of the thick vinyl covering on the TA dash. Thanks
