Drag Racing Tech - Notched vs not notched roll cage kits?

I searched a couple ways & didn't find the info I was seeking. What's the difference & is powder coated finish worth it? I assume if prepainted you only have to touch it up after install. As always any help is appreciated.

jog notching..the cage is cut to fit in an Fbody before it comes so all you do is hold everyting place and weld it in.
i had my wolf notched and it was cake to install. best 100 bucks ever.

Get it notched. Makes the bars fit nearly perfect, minimizing the gaps that are to be welded. If not, you will have to cut/notch it yourself, which is nearly impossible unless you have a good torch or a notching machine.

I bought This from Harbor freight (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=42324), and we've done 5 rollcages with it and it's going strong.. I personally like to notch the tubing myself so I can put the bars exactly where I want, but it's fine either way..

jig notch forsure. I have welded in one and tacked in many Wolfe cages. They are very easy and make for a really easy install.
