Default GM Parts CDs?

Hi:

Does anyone know how/where is get parts cds (DVDs?) that the dealer uses to find parts? I had them for my BMW and VW, but I can't seem to find them for GM anywhere.

Hopefully this is in the right section, since my request is a "tool" used to find parts.

I didn't see anything on a search.

Not sure where to get them, they do come up on Ebay every now and then. If your looking for the Camaro one I have a PDF of the parts break downs and numbers for 93-02 with diagrams. I can email it to you if you want.

What he said. Though I must say the whole layout of the thing is pretty shitty. I can barely read half the damn things printed in the PDF format. Not all that helpful IMO.

Did you try zooming in on them? I've had pretty good luck with them and it's even helped me take stuff apart and put it back together. Now if we could just get GM to stop changing their part numbers on a weekly basis.

I have some of the GM cd's. I put them on ebay and the auction got cancelled and I got a nasty email from an engineer at GM about selling something that wasn't mine, which I responded to by saying they WERE mine as I purchased them (he still didn't agree)...... So I decided to keep them. I doubt you will find them on ebay, and if you do they won't be there very long.

I also have the pdf file which is much more handy to me than having to dig through multiple cd's to find a part number.

Thanks for the info guys. I've got a GM truck that I need various parts for. I really appreciate the offers for PDFs, but since I don't have a car, I can't use them.

Damn GM.. shouldn't be this hard.

Thanks again for your help.
