Default Owned by a ricer in a farty civic

So i'm making my way home and i get passed and cutoff by a white civic hatch that sounds like crap. No big deal, i just keep driving. Well we end up next to each other thanks to a stop sign, so after rolling out, i decide to nail it. Big mistake. Getting the jump, he hears me nail it and downshifts perfectly in VTEC. He stops my pull, and then starts walking out on me. We shut down at maybe 70 and he had me by about 3 cars.

Luckily for him, it wasnt a saturday and my daily driver 97 Frontier 4cyl is bone stock

More than likely, the little ricer was probably like "Awww hellz yeah booyyy, I totally owned that race.", and proceeded to drive off, slouched low in his seat like the pimp he is.

Chalk another one up for the Civic!

I've actually had a close race with a Civic hatchback before - back when I was basically stock... I emerged victorious, but it was WAAAYYYY closer than I thought it was going to be. From a 45 punch, I had maybe a car length on him when I hit 90... He was very easily a mid 13 second car at least...
