Default Anyone running a Yank SS3800??

I was wanting to know if anyone was runnig this stall with a torquer cam or any cam close to it? I am getting ready to install this setup. My other mods are in my sign. Just wondering how it should act on the street and what you are running at the track?

It looks like Yank only makes the SS3200, SS3600 and SS4000. They used to have the SS3800 but, they simplified their product line. I just installed the SS4000 last Friday and could not be happier. Also, my other mods are in my sig. This torque converter kicks ***. I finally opened it up last night and i pulls like a ****. My shift points are set to 6,700 rpm's and during the shift, they only drop to 5,500 rpm's. This is my best converter to date and this is my 3rd TC. The daily driving is very nice with the SS4000. With the 3.42's, the car will barely move from a stoplight once the brake is released. The car will flash to 2,500 rpm's during normal acceleration from a stoplight. With your 4.10's, it will be much tighter than my setup. With the 4.10's you might want to look at the PT4000 or PT4400. At any rate, go no less than the SS4000.

I am running a SS3800E (nitrous) converter in my car with a TREX (A little bigger than the torquer). It runs fine. I wish I would have gone with a 4000 or 4200 but the 3800 doesnt cause any problems with ******* off the line or anything.
