5 pound bottle is pointless in a car.
maybe good for a bike.. but for a car.. 5 pounds equals ALOT OF TRIPS TO THE LOCAL SPEED SHOP!

Here's a crazy idea if you don't mind hacking up your back seats, hollow out the bottom of your back seat as well as the back so you can mount the bottle there and it will look like you just have the back seat folded down. Easy access to turn it on/off and well hidden.
Or you can just stick it in the spare tire well like the rest of us.

Try searching the forum. There are plenty of pics to see but you have to find them. I just figured you were looking for a wild setup. Most people either put it in the spare tire well or in the back where the t-tops go. Some peolpe also mount it in between the back seats.
Like I said, search for pics of bottle and you'll see more than a few setups.

cool, my main objective would be to keep it out of site from behind via the rear hatch window...i'm starting to grow fond of mounting it in between the two rear seats, especially when remote bottle openers are about 200 bucks :thinker: I'll be my own remote opener......for free

It works out great. Safest place in the car, as long as you have a bd tube.

I gottta 15 LB bottle and i really dont care about wether or not mine is hidden. I have had mine in the past in the spare tire well. It seems you have a 15 Lb bottle as well. Question does it still let you open up your little arm rest hatch? I kinda use mine a lot.

With my 10-lb bottle, it fits with the rear seat back in place, and I can still open the console.

It's close, about 1-2" of clearance. I had to modify the stock mounting brackets in order to get the angle for the bottle. Not hard at all and works like a champ.

Are you able to keep your rear seats?

1- Go to Home Depot; Buy a 4 foot by 2 inch x 1/8 inch piece of flat metal ($4.00)
2- Bend it in the bench vice with room where the holes are under your rear seats on either side. Bend flat for the base, then up along the driveshaft tunnel, then accross the tunnel (approx 6 inches) then repaet back down the other side.
3- Use one of your stock bottle brackets and bolt this to the top of your home mount.
4- Say it w/ Kryon...drill mounting holes.
5- Mount your bottle between seats and put your stock cushions back in.
6- Pat yourself on the back and sit back and drink beer. :chug:
= $ 5.00 and fifteen minutes time.
Have fun,
Kev

Yo about the kit, i think that is way overpriced. + why would you buy from an international sale for nitrous. I dont know what they pay overseas but we dont here in TX at least. You can find brand new from one of the sponsers cheaper im sure.
I would go with NX or NOS.
Some guys like TNT as well.

Look to the right of the screen and choose the sponsers site you wanna look at. You will pay whatever methods they accept. Usually credit/ debit card is good.

Just use the NOS 5177 bottle brackets. Mount the lower bracket to the floor between the rear seats. Cut the LOWER portion (between the mounting holes) of the upper bracket in half and bend vertical with a slight bend at the mounting holes and mount to the floor. With a 10lb., or 12.5lb. carbon fibre bottle, you can keep the rear seats. With the 15lb. bottle, the rear seat must be removed. PM if you want pics.

Yes, I'm using a 10 lb. bottle. There is enough room there for your elbows, heck...you can even still use the cup holders. You could likely move it back even further if you changed up the angles.
