Default tranny problems

my converter has been acting up lately (vig 2800) it will lockup and unlock really quickly when the tranny is cold but once it warms up it doesnt do it. i put a new lockup solenoid in it but it didnt help much, my tuner said it wasnt in the tuning, what else can it be??? i called precision and they said it would either be one of the two.
