what do adult corgis look like? never heard of them before

what do adult corgis look like? never heard of them before hello,they kind of look like small german shepards,but with short legs & a short tail.they weigh about 23#s for the males & about 18#s for the females.just punch in corgis on your computer & look in there i am sure there will be alot of pictures & info.they are great dogs very smart & just love people!! & a good watch dog too!!! thanx john

Most be the Welsh hey,yeah they come in the red & white, & the tri-black red & white.i have 1 adult female that is the color you are talking about,she looks just like a fox!!! these pups will have there ears up soon,some of the ones i sold had there ears up already.& you have to have there tails docked when they are born!!!the pictures on here show them at about 2 weeks old they look much different now.but yes they are pembroke welsh corgis!!! thanx john

They look like Cardigan Welsh Corgis, especially the first one with the grey/blue color.

I have 2 Pembrokes Welsh Corgis, they were born without tails. The Cardigans look very similar but have big bushy tails. Sometimes though a Pembroke can be born with a little tail and its up to you to dock it.

Either Corgi breed makes an awesome pet! My wife and will probably get another Welsh Corgi pup at the end of this year, we will probably look for a tri-color female. HeymoeJ, can you post some pics for the mother/father?

hey,i will send you some as soon as i get out & buy a new docking station for my piece of shyytttt kodak!!! i am getting ready to breed my red,black & white female with my friends red & white male(the male looks just like yours but my female is smaller & thiner than your 2).i will also send some pictures of all of there papers which all say pembroke welsh corgis on them.on the computer i have seen all kinds of corgis,fat, thin, hairy,black & white & tan & red & white,sable & the merel whitch does look like the cardigans.hopefully i will get you some pictures this weekend!!!! you are wright they are great pets & probably my best friends!!!!!!!!

Al on the left in the bottom pic is 10 years old and Marlon on the right is 9 years old, you would never know it too, they look and act like young dogs. Also they are actually cousins, their moms are from the same litter. We got them from a breeder out of Missouri.

Had since a pup. THEY DO LIKE TO NIP at your feet;
Always amazed me how she could turn around in mid air and land in opposite direction ready to chase you down. SHE did look like pics above.(White around nose.... Looks like a good match :nod:
She was born with no tail .AND yes the Cardiagan Welsh Corgis are nice aswell
