Default Better daily Driver Cam… TSP Torquer or 233/239 or HPE “S” Cam or what?

Thought I had my mine made up, but now read different things all in my searches. Wanting a good daily driver cam that will work well with a 3500 stall auto, bolt-on, true duals car. Thanks for the help & suggestions.

The "S" cam is cut on a 115 LSA where as the TSP cam is cut on a 113 LSA. Both cams have a varable split, but I believe the S cam has a little more to make up some overlap. I'm gunna say the S cam would be more "tame" for your particular application.

I have the torquer and while my car doesn't have dd duties, it very well could be. Drivability is excellent with this cam!

I'm thinking about a 233/239 for a daily driver this summer

Just a question though... on the LSA, why is it 112+2

I'm confused as to what the +2 is

+2 means the cam is advanced 2 degrees when it is straight up or dot to dot. it basically lowers the powerband

No, doesn't have anything to do with the LSA. That stands for Lobe Separation Angle, or how far apart the peaks of the lobes are.

The +2 just means that the cam is advanced 2 degrees, which is the same as putting the cam in the car, then turning it two degrees forward of the crank.

Here's a diagram to help explain LSA:

I just hope i can throw together the money.

I wanna finish up the bolt-ons first, then wheels... THEN cam
