New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Unbias Car Poll

OK well i am buying a car here soon i need some help....they are both the same price pretty much... give any input please

well this gives it all away lol Either a 03 Cobra or 01 Z06, my goal is basically just to have some good hp, daily driver, and be able to take some upper classed cars from dig/roll

Wow, that is a tough decision. If hp is the sole goal i'd say Cobra, slap on a KB, CAI, and an exhaust and call it a day.

Damn that is tough, I say cobra with bolt-ons. It will be perfect for a daily driver.

Well man, this decision rests solely upon your shoulders. We can only give our opinion and you shouldn't let our opinions weigh too heavily on which car you choose.

I would get the vette.

If you have already driven them both, great. If not GO DRIVE THEM. Then after you have driven them, go drive them again.

And remember there's always going to be someone faster.

I'd say that it's almost impossibile to make a choice like that until after you drive both, IMO......

One of the main reasons I got a Camaro over a 'Vette is because I have a family and the Camaro was actually a common sense choice. I need passenger room. 'Vettes are kewl rides, but rather limited in their usefulness.

As for your question, are you good with wrenches? Do you want to tinker with your new toy? Or do you want to just buy and ride?

As of right now....no i am not good with wrenches only because of the lack of experience but after the army i am goin to either Wyotech or Uti so i will learn to tinker there

Being an old fart I chose the Z28... I slid in to the vett just fine.. But it took a crane to get me back out!! :nod:
