GM spark plug wrench, is this worth it???
I found this on ebay:

For $30 will it really make my life easier? Especially since in the picture they show an LT1/SBC style header.

not on an ls1. the best thing I've found for changing plugs in mine is a good flex head ratchet, a 1 1/2" ext., a swivel, a 3" ext and a regular 5/8ths spark plug socket. the same tools will work on 90 percent of vehicles the 10 percent remaining are the ones that require you to go through the fender well.

To me it doesn't look like it would work well on an F-body....I also use the extension+swivel setup on most of the plugs, but some of them just require you to get in there and get dirty....Good luck

I was at Oreiily Auto Parts today and noticed they have a GM Goodwrench spark plug socket that you can use an wrench on the end instead of the ratchet. It was a bit longer than (or appeared to be anyway) the socket in the ebay pic, but it was only $6. The only other thing you would need would be a GearRatchet wrench.

IMO this will not work on a Ls1_fbody. with or without heders. The best for me has been a stought 1/4 ratchet and a universal and 1/4-3/8 adpt.and spark plug socket. Works great, even better with a touch of anti-seize on the threads, no sticky plugs on the next change.
