I could imagine they must get a lot of respect......if my car was turbo charged, I'd have 95% of the kids in my area hanging from my nuts....

Why? You can get a great turbo kit + install for about $10K. No big deal.

I've yet to encounter a STS turbo'd LS1. I'll keep my comments regarding that kit to myself.

haha I am 20, and am currently going to college. You really think I have $10,000 laying around? When I said kids, I meant 16-25 year olds.

Im also 20, and going to college. Even if I could afford the STS I wouldnt buy it. Cam and spray will be faster and sound better, for less.

Gotta disagree w/ you there. Sound better than a turbo? Than a sick BOV? I've got a TSP 231/237 through true duals, had it for a month now, and I don't think my car is anything special.

Well i cant really say what the turbo alone does as far as street racing, b/c its mated to a 436LS6 block, and with the intercooler and methanol injection, let me put it to you this way, i've yet to come across anything that can hang, but b/c its under the car, i get alot that want to try, the only car i know of around here that touches this thing is my boy in his 68 charger with a blown 625hemi..NASTY

Thats what I was thinking. Still its a V8 with 8lbs of boost. 11.8 is not that good, is it? The turbo looks a little small for a V8. On top of that the turbo is all the way in the rear. How long does it take for the thing to spool up? Mabye thats why they use a little turbo.
