Automatic Transmission - What would it cost to ship a Trans.

I have my old trans sitting at HPE right now and have a buyer for it. I'll call HPE tommarrow and they should be able to help out, but I'm curious what it would cost to ship a Stock 4L60E and Stock vert from Houston to Oklahoma City. I would need a pallet I'm guessing and a way to wrap and secure it.

I'm looking for ideas on this. It's new to me to ship something big like this.

Well, shipping depends on where, its about 150 and up. it also has to be packed and shipped right or they wont take it. I would get some wood from home depot and 2 buy 4. about 12 to 15 bucks, place 2 peaces between floor to hold in place from sliding, wrap ends with plastic and tape off. Mark box, to keep it facing the way you packed it when carring, also cut holds to carry by but they will use a hand truck. I would let the one who needed it pay for the shipping. Good luck!
