Default Rebuilding- which piston rings (GM or ??)

Anyone have any suggestions on which rings to get for stock pistons (the block is getting honed)? GM or ??
The local shop suggested Sealed Power.
Any other thoughts?

Thanks
Ben

I've been searching for piston ring options as I'll have a set of forged pistons for sale soon . I found Perfect Circle has some really nice file fit sets , I just need to find a price . GM's ls6 rings are nice with the napier 2nd ring but they cost as much as ductile moly rings . What type of abuse are these rings going to see ? N/A , Spray , FI . Choose a ring suited for your application .

I am using the Sealed Power rings in mine and have been for 30k miles. It dosent burn any oil, and I have been spraying 125 wet for a year.

Thanks for the replies-

It has FFHP 5.3 heads, 233/239 cam, 11:1 compression...maybe up to 12:1 in the future. Some highway miles, some road racing miles. No spray or boost.

GM Rings will cost you $35 a piston or 304 with out tax. Get you a set of Diamond rings. They will cost you about 190 shipped.
