Default Top End cleaner Ok for cleaning AL Heads?

I plan on freshening up my stock heads. I have a set of LS6 valves on the way, Crane Duals, TI retainer, seats, seals. For cleaning up the carbon on the Heads will it be OK to use some Top End Cleaner or Seafoam to eat desolve the carbon or is there a better product?

Ok Brake cleaner works, but I'm curious if Top End Cleaner will damage the head at all if poured or doused. I just making sure that it isn't caustic to the Aluminum.

I used it to clean the carbon off the tops of my pistons when doing a h/c swap. Works like a charm, no issues with the aluminum. The key is, if you let it soak for an hour or 2 the carbon will be disolved and come off like melted butter.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot when I yank the heads.
