Upset the WRX guy. Driving home, hear a huge turbo hiss and before I realize it, a Black Wrx pipmed out and louder than my SS pulls up to me gives me a rev or two, I go from 5th down to 2nd, 40mph. Punch it once to let him know Im ready. I hear him gom I let him get the jump and immediatly explode past him by one full car before I have to shift into 3rd. In 3rd, I see his headlights bumping up and down as he is shifting and I stll walk him another 3 cars right before 4th. From a roll, modded WRX, gave him the jump, hardly hear my car over his turbo and exhaust burble and handed him his *** 4+ lenghts later. Heads and a cam are the best money I have spent. Later guys and God Bless.

Oh I See You do realize you beat a 2.0 liter car . His fault , wrx sites warn not ot try ls1s without a huge turbo upgrade. If it was a STI , track him down and beat the sh*t out of him for being a NDB nondrivenbi*ch . I say kill em if ya can !!!

Maybe the only reason it was a good kill was because he was under the impression that the WRX driver slapped a 454 in there.Whether the other guy could drive or not, it was a good kill against a worthy foe.

If you have to make excuses you didnt bring enough. Plain and simple. I know some 2 litre guys that run MUCH better times than my 5.7L and they tell me teh same thing. Run what ya brung and hope ya brung enough.

wow-- wee Boy are we a little sensitive? Run what ya brung, exactly. Notice the part about wrx sites warning about ls1 fights without an upgraded turbo. your rexer did not man up in the mod department so he deserves the whoopin he got. TRy to remember, I am a chevy fan. Have a

My cousin has an 02 WRX with an upgraded turbo kit, reflashed ECU, blah blah blah. My truck still worked his *** from a 20 roll, with me giving him the jump and only running 16lbs and my most conservative timing. It would get ugly with my Alki in and running 22lbs. I'm not even running well either. He was pretty pissed and is already looking at even bigger turbo's. He did beat a helmet from a 50 roll. An LS1 would destroy a WRX from just about everything after the 60ft. (depending on tires).

WRXes are fun *** cars, but definitely nowhere near dominating on the street like LS1s are. Nice kill! 
An STI would need a damn beefy turbo and a built fuel system to match heads/cam LS1 power from a roll. We're talking around 450 horses to the wheels here.
