Anyone running the new BMR Trans crossmember w/ Tq Arm relocation?
Anyone running this? How do you like it?
"Take the load off of your transmission tailshaft by relocating the torque arm mount with this kit from BMR. This kit replaces your transmission crossmember with a stronger tubular piece that also has an integrated torque arm mount. The mount itself is adjustable up and down to allow easy "instant center" adjustment. Made from heavy wall DOM tubing and 1/4" mounting plates, all hardware included. Available standard in red or black powdercoat, additional colors also available by special order.
NOTE: As shipped, this part is designed to work with BMR torque arms only. It may be used with stock or other brands by simply replacing the bushing with the compatible unit. Example: A Random Technology torque arm will require the use of a Random Technology bushing."

Son of a bitch, that is exactly what I have been hounding people for. I tried the Yank version and it was a royal piece of **** and didn't fit correctly. I sent it back with pictures and a list of revisions it needed, never heard back from them. Too bad the picture on their site is broken, I need pictures!

I just did the TH400 swap and i had talked to BMR before hand. I was trying to get away with not changing T/A's. Anyhow, The x-member you are talking about is supposed to be pretty good. I had talked to Yank as well and i think the BMR would be alot better. I wound up changing T/A's and using the BMR TH400 x-member because i could not wait until they finished making the new one and testing it. MadMan makes one also.

I was all about a trans bracket w/mount for the torque arm a few weeks ago! And NO ONE had one was going to have one custom fabed this winter but now that I see that I will order it.
I will wait as long as I can to see if they redesign it or have any problems.

Hey Coach, tell your dad he needs this for the '01 Black Beast
I think these are must have items, too bad they are just now coming out. Cheaper than having to buy a whole new tq arm setup for around $400+

Looks like a nice piece.. but I hope there is a gusset on the back side that we can't see in the picture. Hate to think that the TA is supported only by that weld.
I've ran the Yank piece for a couple of years. Works great for me. This one appears to do the same thing and offer a little more adjustability (not sure thats a good thing)

BMR pre-tested it before they put it on the market.
