anyone fond limits on stock rod?

Default anyone fond limits on stock rod?

under 7300 rpm use. Anyone ever break one as the cause of a failure?

I believe the rod bolts go before the rods themselves do. I'm not positive on that though.

about a liter water @ 1200rpms through the ATI will do it too! At least it did my buddies!

7200-7400 is about it. My buddy broke one if half at 6800 and the pistons hit the head and the bottom half was still on the crank.

DDAAAMMNN! I agree when you get upward to 7 grand often dont be surprised if it happens!

With ARP rod bolts the stock rods should be good for 7200-7400 rpm like goober said. But that's assuming everything is still within tolerances like rod bearings, getting plently of oil, etc. These engines go through oil faster when racing, especially on a road course.

That's what I have done, along with coating the bearings, on my rebuild.
....but I won't be going above 6600 RPMs with a 224/581 112 LSA cam.
