Default Aftermarket Spoiler question.

I have purchased a aftermarket SS spoler for my Z28. First one only came with 2 bolts not 4. I sent that back and got one with 4 bolts. Althought it has 4 bolts only 1 of the 4 come through enough to be tightened down. The posts by the 3rd break light are a good 2 inches above the body on top of the trunk. The drivers side is not flush on the front bolt a bood 3/4 of an inch. I can understand having to sand some of that down to get a fit. But if I sand to far will it get past a point in the fiberglass that I would not be able to return it and still not fit? Second question should I just return it?

I had the same exact problem just a few days ago. The driver side doesnt fit flush woth the spoiler. I just sanded down the hole on the bottom side of the spoiler through where the light wires runs through to get it to sit better. It still doent fit perfect but alot better than what it did before.
