Default Anyone wideband a stock vehicle at startup?

I was just wondering what the target AFR would be for a vehicle at cold start. I just got my wideband so I've never had a chance to try it.

It will vary from vehicle to vehicle, depending on the type pf cam that you have. I have never had a wideband on an LSx at start up, but my GTO with a BBC and EFI runs best at around 11.5:1 at start up. It has a pretty lumpy cam and likes a lot of fuel at start-up. Even in 20 degree weather, I turn the key and she fires right up, like a new car.

I suspect an LSx with a moderate cam will be around 12-12.5:1 at start up.

Before your O2s warm up you are in Open Loop Operation. In the OLFA table you will see a bunch of commanded AFR multiplier that are applied to stoich AFR. Cold starts command pretty rich and lean out as you get into to operating temps (Closed Loop). The thing is though, if your VE table is not tuned well, doesn't matter what you command, you may get something else...
