I have a monstrous solid roller cam in the 408, I'm using T&D shaft rockers. My cam is a 276/284 .793 lift 106 lsa, I really like the T&Ds adjusting the lash takes about 10 minutes per side.

So has anybody put in the screw in studs and ran a BBC roller rocker? The way i look at it i already have the studs and guide plates. And I am able to get the rockers for around 200$. The slight machine work that would need to be done is no problem either. so for about 200$ i could have adjustable full roller rockers. Anybody see any problems with this?

You'd have better luck trying to get Jesels designed for the SB2 to work... used SB2 rockers can be had for fairly cheap. Custom stands aren't too bad...

FYI...the newest Comp shaft mounts for the LS1 are made for Comp by T&D. They are silver in color. The older Comp Shaft mounts that were red anodized where made by DRE and were discontinued. The Patriots look alot like the DRE and are adjustable. They may be a good deal.
I have a set of the newer T&D made Comps on the way.
