Special Edition Vehicles - 01 Ss

hi, my name is Ryan, my girlfriend drives a '01 SS. Dark Blue, auto tranny, black leather interior, and T tops. i am wanting to find info on it for her. The tailpipes are the dual split rear tips. Also the second letter in the vin is a G. i was told this is the 325hp model? Are there different stages. I drive a 94 GT. Im a Ford guy so i dont know much about chevys. I also work as a tech at the Ford dealership here. I was sure that you guys here would beable to help me out on this. thanks and you have a great site from what ive seen so far.

Look for the door codes WU8 for an authentic SS and Y2Y to indicates it was an SLP car. All WU8 cars should be 325 HP. Y2Y car indicates it received special options from SLP that (depending on options) could increase hp up to 345. I think that was only advertised on the 2002 SS cars though.
