LSX will flow more air but you will not see a noticble amount of power unless you have ported heads and a cam. If you get the lsx intake get the 90mm not the 78mm.

Buy the LSX and be done with it. no sence in leaving HP on the table down the road if you plan on doing more MODS!!

There is very little difference between the LS6 and 78mm LSX. The 90mm LSX will not help you until you have at least heads/cam.

alot of people overlook the fact that the lsx manifold comes setup for direct port and has a burst panel.

you can go with the LSX 90mm setup if you plan on a healthy cam, its shown that it will be beneficial. nothing crazy but it WILL help some. if you don't plan on too many mods for the time being, an ls6 intake will suit you just fine.

On the few cars Ive seen it tested on, it hasn't been worth the near the money they are getting for it. Granted, I haven't seen a back to back comparison of it vs LS6 on a big cube or built power-adder car, so in that instance it might be worth the ~$1600 (intake and tb).

It's 2 times the price of the LS6 though, and the burst panel does not come standard on it.
