Main studs?

Main studs? I am in the process of building my own short block and i was wondering if i should go ahead and get main studs. I have head studs but just didn't know if i needed the mains. I will be running 16#'s of boost through it so let me know what you guys think.

I would get the studs. They are on backorder as far as I know. I have some on order and they said it will be alittle while. If you get the main studs you will have to get the block line bored to match the clamping force of the studs. They don't even come close to clamping the same way as the stock bolts. I have done hands on with this particular thing.

If you plan on 1+ Atmosphere of boost, I would suggest you do. I would even consider billet caps if $ is not an issue.
