Not sure how much grinding LT1 calipers take so i dont know there. You need the SST style open end lugnuts, 12mmx1.5. I dont think you should use spacers, I personally think it makes them stick out too far.

Is there a reason why your considering a small 8 inch wide rim? Unless the tires your considering restrict you from using a 10 inch rim, no sense in choosing it. Backspace options are a bit shallow with both weld and centerlines 8 inch rims for an F-body. To give you an example, your STOCK rims tuck ~1 inch MORE then the rims your considering.

You shouldn't be runing an 11.5 wide ET street tire or 10 inch ET drag tire on that small rim.

Just something for you to consider.

Depending if they are OEM calipers/rotors/pads you'll need to at LEAST grind the cooling fins off the caliper for an LT1.

not really. I never had much thought about buying a 15x10. I plan to run the Nitto 275/50/15s already mounted on them for a while, until i buy a pair of Hoosier QTPs 26x9x15

thanks

any particular brand of lugnut? i noticed summit sells weld racing lug nuts, would these be best?? or would some from just a local parts store be fine? does anyone know the corect shank length?

check here: http://www.freewebs.com/casper9t9/dragwheelinfo.htm Dont buy cheap lugs. I bought some from Autozone because I was in a hurry, the washers were absolute junk and tore into my wheels. The summit ones have shown to be pretty good so far.
