can someone tell me or give me a link to some new Gen. small block tech info? Thanks.

No link from me but i would say counterbalance machining would be only difference. 5.3 crank might be closer to balance for aftermarket piston,rods on 5.7 motor.

ok related question not a highjack sorry. i was wondering if the lsx truck 5.3 litter engines are a smaller bore than the ls1 or same bore with a a diff crank???

5.3 = 3.79" bore, same stroke as 5.7 and 6.0 3.62"
5.7=3.89" bore
