what kind of sixty foot? How much does the car weigh? You would have been better off sticking with ported LT1 heads and an after amrket cam then getting the LT4 heads and hot cam.

Get a CC306 or GM847 and your going to be hitting your numbers... the LT4 is tame.

I have a buddy running 12.20s with a 95 formula. Crane cam (still mild specs seeing he shifts at 5900 rpm, but can't remember specs offhand, not a solid grind), mildly ported lt1 casting heads, BBK TB, hooker long tube headers, no cats with 3" flowmaster exhaust system with single outlet, 3.73 geared 10 bolt with T/A girdle, stock torque arm and lca (boxed on the arms though), TH350 trans with 3400 stall 10" convertor. 1.69 60 foots on mickey thompson sportsman pros and 12.20s at 110 mph N/A, 11.40s at 118 mph with a 100 hp shot of juice. Still street driven 4-5 times a week, a/c and full weight. 11's N/A can be done, but you'd have to "massage" everything to work well together, and/or weight reduction helps. Good luck!

I'd imagine on that sixty and mods it would be a good bit quicker, what kind of headers are on there?

383s are completely streetable. When I bought my car it had the 383 in it and the guy I bought it from drove it to and from work along with his wife driving it. When I got it my wife drove it to work many times.

Now though it's not very streetable

You can make a big cube stroker streetable with the right cam and tunning. THunder Chicken (GMHTP 93 Formula) was a 396, CC305 cam, they drove it on the street all the time and the car passed emisions. Big cubes really tame down cams.

I was going to say try the 306 and maybe a 4k stall, it would be close. I dont know if you listed it, but do you have longtubes?

I think there is also and xtreme cam out there around 230/236 that might be good too, i hope im not mixing up ls1/lt1 grinds. I havent dealt w/ the lt1 in a while.

i would stay away from so called "shelf cams" if your looking to get the best performance...my opinion is to call cam motion, joe O, etc tell them your mods and tell them you want the most performance with your mods you have and they will grind the perfect cam for your app that the 306, 847, etc, etc wont even compare too...www.cammotion.com also cammotions price on custom grinds are 290 plus shipping which isnt outrageous
