Default New Era high flow intake installed (pics)

I got my New Era CAI installed on Super Bowl Sunday. It took about an hour. Pretty simple install. Hardest part was deciding on the best positioning for the filter. You can definitely feel the difference on the hwy.
I cant really go from a stop yet because I still have my Blizzaks on for winter. I dont want to burn them off, plus I dont get any traction with them on dry cement. This CAI paired with SLP LM has given me better throttle response and I cant wait to take it to the track to see if my times improved.

Looks good! I'll be interested to see some dyno numbers with one of these kits.

I'm not a big fan of the oil based filters like K&N, anyone know of a paper cone filter?

The CAI does look very good though. Might have to get one even though it'll go bye bye if i go FI.

Cant say I've seen the Speed Inc one but I will vouch for this one. I got it at the 179. intro price which I thought was a good deal. Im not sure if they are still at that price or not.

Hey, I have to ask, what is the K&N stop-sign sticker about? I didn't get one with my particular filter (K&N Airhcarger intake) but I've seen that 2x now on other intake kits. What does it say?

It basicaly says do not discard filter. I guess incase you took it in for service or something, it tells the technician not to replace the filter.

I did not. I have heard to many bad things happening with the TA's and Camaros from doing that.

Looks nice but where does the "cold air" come from? I'm thinking come summer and air conditioning season that device is going to be a hot air intake.

There are holes rightbelow the filter where the stock airbox got its air from.

Thanks, that Is good. Could it be boxed off in some fashion like is done on the SS Impalas? They seem to have a fabricated piece that makes sure the air comes from outside of the engine compartment.
