i belive splines are different, bellhousing, and converter

I am 100% positive that they won't bolt up you would have to get an adapter for the bell housing bolt pattern. Plus I'm not for sure but I believe the ls1 2 piece case is a little bigger then the LT1's 1 piece case.

Different bellhousings and different electronics. You can convert a LS1 4L60E over to use on a LT1 but its not a direct swap.

just drill som wholes in it and call it the day lol! j/k but there is a conversion for it somewhere.

I had been damaged alot of 4l60E gears , so the main differences are :-

1- bell housing
2- torque converter
3- elctrical differences( sensors , harness connect )
4- input and also the output shaft
5- gears drams (the lt1 have the same 700R gear dums)
6-gear oil pump.

there are 1 or 2 things also that i dont remember
