Rear sway bar: Spohn or BMR
ok im lookin at rear sway bars, first off is the BMR drag sway bar like the sphoon where it attaches to the frame or is it just a thick sway bar that attaches to the stock pionts.
how are the ones that attach to the frame, driving on the street? do you loose cornering abilty at all? is vibration bad?
out of the BMR and sphooon which ones do you guys recomend?
thanks

If you looking for one that will see a significant amount of street time, I recommend the 25mm Spohn stock replacement. That's what I run on my car: http://www.spohn.net/productimages/923_REAR_bigx.JPG Bolts into the factory location and doesn't add any noise to the interior of the car.
If it's mostly a race car that will only see limited street miles, the Drag style bars are the way to go. Like this one: http://www.spohn.net/productimages/921_big.JPG or http://www.bmrfabrication.com/Xtreme/dragbar.jpg
If your getting real serious the Wofle Racecraft setup is the way to go: http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...id=109&sid=193

Don't know about street manners of BMR extreme unit but have one on my car and works great!! as for needing a wolf bar to go fast I don't know about that saw several 3rd gen camaros at streetnationals in Tampa all had BMR extreme drag bar.The guy who won the radial class Troy Perez ran 8.11 at 170+ cutting 1.30 flat 60' went straight as an arrow...my vote BMR

Although my car doesn't wheel stand like most others, it leaves strait and level. Very little twist in the back end. This is on 1.4x 60' times. I would recommend this bar to anyone that just wanted to bolt one in and not have to worry about any welding or extra noise.

I run the Spohn drag swaybar on my 98 Formula. It works great at the track, car leaves straight every time, evrything else uder the car is BMR. On the street it is a little noisy and it`s a very stiff ride. I have a stock suspended 02 Formula, very comfortable ride(daily driver) but I`d rather drive the 98
