Default Sealed Power stock replacement lifters...

Has anyone had any experience with the sealed power / federal mogul stock replacement lifters? Any preload issues or known failures? Max acceptable lift?

Yeah, they are either Eaton's or Delphi's. Now Seal Power use to own Johnson Tappet who went out of business and threw the lifter industry in turmoil. Johnson is back selling tappets under new ownership of Topline. So more then likely it is one of the 3. They won't be any better or any worse then any other OEM lifter. I would assume GM buys from Delphi since they are related, so what came in your car was more then likely Delphi's.

If I got paid for what I know about this industry, I could have retired 5 years ago!!!!

That's the truth, just wait till "latest" hits the coast. I got a feeling crankshaft prices are going to get real competitive here real soon.
