Default No one else ever wondered this? (MT DR's vs ET Streets)

M/T ET streets vs. ET streets radial??

Does the new ET radial wrinkle?
Does the new ET radial let the *** end of the car sway back and forth?
If not how stiff is the side wall (good for handling or not)
and last but not least. WHEN TALKING 6000++ RPM CLUTCH DROPS WITCH IS BETTER AT HOOKING THAT **** UP??????

The radials work REAL well...

I sold my 26x11.5 ET Streets after only making 5 passes with 275x50 15 ET Street Radials.

Matched my best bias ply 60ft with the radials on only my 2nd pass on them.. and the track conditions were worst

Stiff side wall of the radial will help you hook better in a heavy car with a stick

same reason they sell a slick with a stiff sidewall, sometime less flex is better, as mentioned above....

Looking at these pics, I'd say the they wrinkle, hook pretty damn good and come in lots of sizes.

I am interested in this as well. I've been thinking about going with the 3754R 275/60R15 (28X9). I've heard and seen great things about these tires, I'm just curious if they will hook the same with an M6 Car.

They should sway a lot less at the end of the track.

I have a new set of 275-60-15 MT DR's to play with in 2005 as a comparo.

For those of you with M6 stock internal cars that want to know how these tires do, I will let you know this spring. I have a set of 255/55/16s for this year. I can't wait to try them out. I just hope my 10-bolt stays together.

Better start saving for the 12bolt or 9" I was told these tires hook as good or better then ET Streets!! I broke my 10bolt on Nittos on 1.8 60fts.

Well if the weather holds out for wensday night, I will do a 6000 rpm launch on et streets and et street radials to see the difference. On et streets 26x11.5x16's I pull consistent 1.65's. On Nittos , I have pulled 1.64 leaving at 4500 but not sticking the gas untill the car jumped . I will try all 3 tires in the same night wehn I go back. All of them on the 16 inch size( may use 315x35x17's for the Nittos all though I have both )

I put the lca relocation brackets on and the 255x50 15's drag radials. They did not hook on the asphalt but on cement exit from I55, they hook at 4000and bogged. Cant wait to see how they are the track.
