Wheel idea - black 19s on Hugger SS
I'm working on a deal to buy a 1999 hugger orange Camaro SS this weekend. It currently has the boring stock silver SS wheels on it, which are too bland for me. So, I was tinkering around with PhotoShop, and put the HP Racing 19s from my '02 SS onto the orange one, and made the spokes powdercoated black. Of course, they do not sell them black, so I would have to get them coated locally.
Looks great though!
For now, I'll probably just put the stock 35th LE wheels on the car until I decide what I want to do.

Tony: Looks great. Is that white interior? I had a red on white 95 TA vert that looked great but the seats are hard to keep clean. Don't wear blue jeans on white leather seats!!!! I learned the hard way.

The photo above shows white seats. The car I'm buying has gray leather. I'm getting a good deal on the car, it has 38K miles, all of the SLP options (Bilstein, dual-dual, etc etc) and is a 6-speed T-top car. $13.5K I've always wanted an orange SS

Do it. It looks great.
Wait, so you have a beast old school car, a nice street car, a project drag car, a truck and plan to get another Camaro??
Damn. Where do you keep them all, and how is your insurance set-up?

And nice car, are those the FM10s? Looks very nice.
I think the black wheels on that hugger Camaro would look really nice. I don't think the photochop would really give a good representation, I think you will probably have to see them in real life to decide if you like them or not. Also, if you decide to powdercoat your calipers hugger orange for any reason, use 1 part Chevy Orange and 7 parts Vermillion from Eastwood co, just thought you might want to know . I did a lot of experimenting and that turned out to be an exact match. PM me for pics.

Zane-O, you can't really hunt for deals. The best way is to just have the funds available and wait for them to come along.
poik, blue jeans will bleed on white leather, staining them. White leather is more suitable for show cars, not daily drivers, haha.
Slammed, my insurance co. loves me. I have them all insured except for the blue one since it is paid off and is a race car that won't see the street anyways. I have the '69 set up on collector car insurance, its only $460/year. Not bad

i think the wheels would look just as good if not better if you left them silver. might run it with them silver for a while and when you get tired of it, get them powder-coated. the SS will be nice, good price
