Default Dry sump oiling systems (mangus pump)

So I am seriously looking into a dry sump system for my car, I'm sick and tired of the stock pump.

After some looking I found http://www.manguspumps.com/, they seem to have a very good pump, I called them and they said their pumps will work fine in a daily driven application for many miles long as I change the belt once and a while, but I want to hear what ls1tech has to say about them.

Secondly, am I missing anything, here is my list
LS1 dry sump pan
Remote oil tank
Remote mount filter
Pump
Cog belt
Crank pully with cog on it
Pump
Braided hoses and fittings

This seems like about a $2500 project, I can get into the pumps for around 700 for a 4 stage

www.drysump.com sells a bunch of ls1-specific dry sump pumps, pans, and drive mandrels. Peterson Fluid Dynamics, Barnes Dry Sump Supply, and Moroso all sell very high quality tanks, breathers, and filters.

Your project will probably be closer to $3,000 to do it though. $2,500 is pushing it.

do you realize what a drysump entails?

You are looking at a 5 stage? 4 stage? Stock pressure, external scavenge?

ARE ( Drysump.com) has the LS1 apps, but you use the stock pump for pressure, and the 2 or 3 stage for pan scavenge.

You are looking at more than 3k total with lines, pressure reliefs, scavenge filters, remote oil filter and mount ( must do this with any kit) ect.

Its not for the faint of heart, and I certainly would not put one on a daily driver.
