Default Which maf for custom tune?

I'm getting close to getting my car put back together and was wondering which MAF does everyone use after a heads cam install w/ custom tuning? I have the stock MAF. Should i just get ported ends or go w/ the 85mm SLP? Also, will the 85mm Slp MAF work well w/ a custom tune?
TIA
Rob

If you haven't spent the money yet, the best way to go
is the Z06 MAF (which you can get for less than the SLP
by a fair bit of yardage). It would be cleanest to get a
Casper's harness and use the 85mm's in-MAF IAT sensor.
The SLP harness doesn't. The Z06 MAF has a known cal
table while the SLP is a hack-job trying to use the stock
one (but, in my logging, it appeared to flatline at 10kHz
while MAP*RPM kept rising).

Though, descreening (and -not- porting, and -not- putting
aftermarket ends) the stocker would cost you nothing, in
cash, and nothing much in power relative to an 85mm. I
expect you could find at least one better place to put your
mod money.
