i am just curious what rear end gear whine is. i just got my 02 ws6 and when i drive i hear a very slight humming noise almost like a jet engine in the distance. i only hear it at about 60 mph and only when i have my foot on the gas, if i take my foot off the noise is gone. is this just normal humming that comes from the drive train or is this something i need to get looked at right away. it is a stock 10 bolt in a m6. no other noises. i also just had the pinion seal replaced
