Default AIR system removal?

Is there anyway to keep the ses light from coming on after removing the AIR system besides getting a pcm tune or using an editing program such as ls1-edit?

I took out my AIR and EGR(got an LS6 intake) and I'm just living with the light. Heck..I don't even see it anymore but my engine bay looks a lot cleaner! I'll remove it when I purchase my HPT.
