If you want a stage 2 port job, bigger valves, valve job, seals, and reassembly it will prob run about the same as buying a set of heads say from patriot which would be better since they have tested theirs and have good results. Just from what I have found arround my area this is some of the prices

valves $220
seals $20
valve job $175
Port work $400
Springs $200
-----------------
$1015

That is is taking your heads off and being down until the machince shop gets them back to you and I even forgot about milling them and assembly too. For a little more money you can have a reputable sponsor do them for you and know what you are getting.

If you are worrying about keeping it cheap just look for some used heads here on the board that are from a known porter and you can save some money and still get a great set of heads, might take a while to find what you want used but I can bet if you check enough there will be a thread with what you want at a good deal.
